Trail of the Heroes and Journey of the Heroes - 2018 Edition
"Trail of the Heroes" and "Journey of the Heroes" editions will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd September 2018.
"Trail of the Heroes" is a mountain running event that twists and turns through the main ridges of Monte Grappa, following where possible the trenches of the Great War and the "Alta Via degli Eroi".
"Journey of the Heroes", on the other hand, is beyond the simple Ultra Trail. It's not just a sporting contest, but a real experience that allows you to experience the mountain in a deep and total way, you will be able to step your foot in places where the Great War was fought.

"Trail degli Eroi" is a mountain running event that twists and turns through the main ridges of Monte Grappa, following where possible the trenches of the Great War and the "Alta Via degli Eroi".
An itinerary mainly on dirt track, which offers beautiful views of the landscape, along with food self-sufficiency and semi-self-sufficiency of water; make this contest an event in the classic "trail spirit" that every year, since the first edition of 2011, welcomes hundreds of enthusiastic athletes from around the world.
The name was not not chosen, but "imposed", since Monte Grappa has been the scene of the First World War, combined with the characteristic of going through the Memorial Monument of Cima Grappa, make this trail a unique event of its kind, not only in Italy, but in the world.
THE MISSIONS of "iLupiTeam Adventure Run" is to give to the trail participants an unforgettable experience of running inside history.

Il Viaggio degli Eroi (Journey of the Heroes) is beyond the simple Ultra Trail. It's not just a sporting contest, but a real experience that allows you to experience the mountain in a deep and total way, you will be able to step your foot in places where the Great War was fought.
An itinerary that goes from Feltre in the province of Belluno to Monte Grappa, covering a total of 109 km in 24h divided over 3 days of competition, traveling through the history again, discovering beautiful landscapes.
Journey of the Heroes is meant to be a unique edition, as a tribute we want to give for the celebrations of 100 years since the end of the Great War.
A unique event of its kind in Italy, a journey in stages with different departure and arrival every day.
Welcomed by a moving camp, where they will find their luggage, meals served and entertainment, the athletes will be able to experience this adventure at 100% but with security and assistance, logistic supports and attached services.
